Are retreats required?
Every member is required to attend either one nation-wide retreat or state-wide retreat per year. This is so every member can get the change to meet their sisters in person. Retreats are usually during winter/spring/summer break and usually lasts for 3 days (Friday-Sunday).
What does being a member entail?
- Group Chat: Every sister gets put into a group-chat where we can all chitchat and get to know each other. We also have state by state group-chats where sister of each state can decide to meet up and do state-wide activities.
- Video Chat: There are monthly Zoom video calls where we play games, talk about current events, and just hang out.
- Retreats: Many sisters also fly in to a specific state and have a weekend of fun during the nation-wide retreats!
- Philanthropy: Each state gets to pick a cause that they're passionate about and volunteer for their cause to make a difference in their communities.
- Sisterhood: Every sister in our sorority has the chance to form strong, unbreakable bounds with the other girls. Almost all of our members say that Kappa Zeta has helped them come out of their shell, and form genuine friendships that they'd never thought they were able to have.
